Billing Representative - Kaiser Transport

Kaiser Transport, Inc is an OTR LTL double-drop, step-deck freight consolidating trucking company (located in Janesville, WI) that specializes in hauling machines, equipment and all other freight.

Kaiser Transport, Inc is seeking a hard charging-highly motivated experienced professional for the position of Billing Representative. This position reports to the Accounting & Finance Manager and will perform the following:

Essential Functions:

• Billing of freight bills daily within Truck Mate and vector software
• Audit all freight bills before billing within Truck Mate vector software
• Utilize portals for third party invoice billing systems
• Contact drivers and/or freight carriers as needed to request paperwork for loads, such as Proof-of-Delivery, invoices, and other paperwork as necessary
• Process proof-of-delivery requests
• Resolve billing discrepancies
• Client accounts reconciliation as needed
• Requires excellent customer relationship skills
• Must be able to Multi-task at a high level

Required Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of prior accounting experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven technical skills; including the use of MS Office applications
• Team oriented mentality, working knowledge of automated systems
• Computer literacy including familiarity in handling and maintaining a customer database

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Truck Mate and vector business software experience
• 1 year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
• 1 year of experience working with ERP or Billing software systems

Hours: Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Monday - Friday

Successful candidate must pass a 30-, 60-, and 90-day evaluation.
