Billing Representative - Trans-Care Ambulance

About the Job
The Trans-Care Billing Department currently has open positions for an Administrative Assistant and a Patient Accounts/Collections Representative.
The Administrative Assistant duties include (but not limited to):
- Answering the phone and assisting callers with questions
- Daily invoice printing
- Requesting medical records and missing documentation
- Follow up on legal accounts
The Patient Accounts/Collections Representative duties include (but not limited to):
- Process incoming patient mail
- Bill Patient account verifications
- Collection account reporting and management
- Bill Patient account billing
The successful candidate will also cross-train on other billing functions within the office, including answering incoming phone calls and weekly collection calls. This in-office position is Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Prior billing experience preferred, but not necessary
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to pass drug screening, if offered employment
