As a Billing Services Associate, it is required to have strong knowledge in Billing. Understand the implication of the work and make recommendations for solutions. Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Determine methods and procedures on new assignments working collaboratively with other team members.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
How does a Billing Services Associate make an impact?
- Process billing transactions on customer accounts, including pay plan changes, applying and refunding unassigned cash, and combining payment accounts.
- Adhere to state regulations and department policies related to the processing of billing transactions.
- Review and analyze customer payment history to identify problems on accounts and provide payment history to internal departments and customers.
- May respond to Department of Insurance and escalation requests related to payments and billing transactions. May process transactions on unpaid accounts assigned to collections.

- Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work, identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data and makes recommendations for solutions. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions.
- Works with a limited degree of supervision. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
- This is an intermediate level support role, which typically requires 1+ years of relevant experience.
This position is part of a job family. Placement will be determined by skills and qualifications of the candidate.
