About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Billing Specialist with experience in Costpoint. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating accurate and timely invoices within Costpoint. This role will be critical to troubleshooting billing errors, and ensuring that timesheets are submitted, signed, and approved immediately after each pay period. The billing specialist will assist with project code and PLC assignment and tracking project costs while ensuring that projects stay within funded levels. Responsibilities will also include reconciling the timesheets of Prime and Subcontractors biweekly. In addition to the billing specialist responsibilities, this position will create user accounts for the Deltek system, assign project codes and PLCs, and troubleshoot user log-in issues; we will provide training on these responsibilities. This is an in-person role.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required
- 1+ years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint in the Billing module is required
- 1+ years of creating invoices for Government contracts is required
- Knowledge of various contract types
- Ability to independently gather the required information to perform job responsibilities
- Proven ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability to use spreadsheets and Costpoint to perform job responsibilities
- Proficiency with Excel; may use based invoices in addition to Costpoint
- Critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to use organizational skills to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Excellent time management skills and a self-starter; ability to work through and solve problems independently
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
