Blade Press Operator
$17 /hr. to start - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity at a Growing Company in the Springdale / Tri-County area!
1st shift - Monday - Friday 6am-4pm - 50 hour per week schedule; Friday's are short days occasionally, depending on Production schedule.
Job Summary
Under direction of supervisor operate and maintain assigned machines in a production setting by following standardized procedures and work instructions. Is cross -trained on all machines in the department, may be cross trained on machines and equipment outside of department. Ensures the overall quality of parts coming off machinery.
Essential Functions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.

Essential Functions
- Safely operate blade press and other machinery and equipment used in the production process to create quality parts.
- Always follow safe lifting practices, including requirements for two-person lift, and/or lifting equipment.
- Cleans and perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
- Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure quality and for defects according to work instructions and procedures.
- Perform quality checks using measurement tools.
- Keep press clean during every cycle, clean out and lube as needed.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment and adhere to all department safety policies and procedures
- Perform required part clean up including grinding or other finishing operations as specified by work order.
- Understands and follows ISO procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Understands how to read job documents and follow the shop work flow.
- Maintain production levels necessary to maintain supply and demand.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Able to use measuring tools including but not limited to calipers, tape measure, & protractors.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season.
