JDA TSG is hiring Seasonal Bookkeeping/Accounting Professionals for the upcoming tax season. If you have 3 years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience, proficiency in QBO, and are looking for remote work, we would love to speak with you about joining our team!  

 

QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification is required. If you are not yet certified but know you can be, let’s chat. 

  

Who You Are: 

• You are a book-balancing maestro with a sharp eye for detail.  
• You have no idea why anything is ever in undeposited funds.  
• QuickBooks is your second language, and you have a knack for making numbers behave.  
• More than that, you are someone with a positive attitude and a get-it-done mindset.  

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Using state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers, you will evaluate and resolve complex bookkeeping problems, including financial statement discrepancies, chart of accounts cleanup, sales tax issues, A/P and A/R issues, payroll questions, and anything else that may look off to you in our customers’ books. 
• Provide direct client support and ongoing bookkeeping services in QBO. 
• Create high quality customer experiences that instill confidence and ensure all follow up and communication is executed timely. 
• Reconcile multiple accounts and produce accurate monthly financials for each client.  
• Research regulations to support guidance. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification (Required before you start in this role. We can help!) 
• 3+ years in similar bookkeeping or accounting roles and a minimum of 1 year of experience using QBO. 
• Solid understanding of sales tax (nexus) and payroll taxes across multiple states. 
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple tasks. 
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software. 
• High degree of customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a way that is professional, friendly, and reassuring. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  

Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated high-speed (DSL, cable, Fiber) internet connection. (No Sattelite.)

• Pay rate starting at $25 per hour (W2), plus benefits including 401K with a match, perks and other incentives. 
• Work from early January through the end of April 2025, averaging 40 hours a week. Overtime hours may be available.
