Bookkeeper - Part Time at Venteon

VENTEON Finance is hiring a PART TIME BOOKKEEPER to provide support in Southfield, MI. You will assist a corporation in Accounting, Finance, and month end close.

JOB TYPE : Part time. Long term contract. In office. PAY: $25.00 - $31.25 per hour based on education/skills.

Requirements of the Bookkeeper:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is desired. Will also consider solid work history in bookkeeping.
• Excellent Accounting and Financial Analysis skills, Knowledge of GAAP.
• Transactional accounting experience with A/P, A/R, Reconciling accounts, and bank accounts. Experience supporting month end close activities.
• Technical skills: Extensive work experience using QuickBooks required . Strong MS Excel skills including macros and pivot tables.
• Prior experience working in the financial services industry or corporate work environment.
