Duties:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and check requests.
- Verify accuracy of billing statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile accounts and manage collections.
- Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system.
- Ensure all entries are accurate and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficient in AP, AR, journal entries, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
