General: The applicant shall be responsible for performing and documenting preventive lane maintenance services.

- Cycle/checkmachines,foullightsandrelatedequipment
- Investigate/correctmachinesthathavedevelopedamalfunctionpattern
- Cleanballliftanddistributorbelts
- Cleanpinelevator

Keepworkarea,workbenchandserviceisle clean & orderly
Assignandrecordpreventivemaintenanceonthepreventivemaintenance charts
Weeklypreventivemaintenanceshallincludethe following and shall be documented on the checklist provide in Appendix A:

- Monthlypreventivemaintenanceshallincludethe following and shall be documented on the checklist provide in Appendix A:
- Check,clean,correct,adjust,spottingcups,respot cells, and table assembly in general.
- Check,cleancorrectadjust,sweepassembly
- Check,clean,correctballtracks,down sweeps
- Check,correct,adjustcarpetbelttracking,frontand rear rollers
- Check,correct,adjustbounceboard,dampers,supports,groundstrap
- Check,correct,adjustcushionassemblyand shock
- Blowoutsweepandtablebrakes
- Check all machine belts, replace asneeded
- Clean distributorassembly
- Quarterlypreventivemaintenanceshallincludethe following and shall be documented on the checklist provide in Appendix A:
- Cleanthemachineframework,drippans
- Completequarterlylubricationitems
- Tightenfrontandrearjackscrews
- Tighten pin cushion and hangar boxbolts
- Remove distributor clutch assembly. Clean the pinion and sleeve, friction disks metal and plastic. Use fine emery cloth to smooth friction disk. Lubricate pinion and sleeve and reassemble.
- Check:pinholderbrackets,shuttlestraps,shuttle operator rod. Repair as needed. Tighten shuttle bolts.
- Yearly preventive maintenance shall include the following and shall be documented on the checklist provide in Appendix A. Check the following for worn or broken parts, repair or replace as needed:
- Tableandsweeparms,shaftbushings,keywaysandpillow blocks
- Completeannuallubechartitems
- Check/correctgearboxoilleaksandchangeoil
- Rebuildtabledrive
- Rebuildcarpetrollerandpitassembly
- Rebuilddistributorassembly
- Rebuild ball lift assembly, light ballsensor
- Cleanundergroundreturntracks,tightendown sweep track
- RoutineLaneMachineServices
4.1 General: The contractor shall be responsible for performing and documenting lane machine services as shown below:
- Dailypreventivemaintenanceshallincludethe following and shall be documented:
- Using a clean cloth, wipe down the entire length of the power cord
- Completely wipe down oil compartment. Do not clean the transfer brush or buffing brush unless needed
- Cleandrippadsoneachsideofthemachineintheoilcompartment
- Clean the drive, lane distance and momentary wheels. Dust & lint shall not be allowed to build up
- Wipe squeegee clean & inspect for wear. An extra set of blades must be kept on-site as a backup and must be stored in a dark cool space
- Wipedown frontofthemachine
- Wipeoffoutsideofthemachine
- Monthlypreventivemaintenanceshallincludethe following and shall be documented:
- Usingcompressedair,removedustfromallsurfaces
- Inspect recovery tank filter. Replace as specified in Appendix 3 or as needed
- Cleanlintfromtransferbrushandcleanbetweenbrushes
- Replace duster cloth if required. If the duster cloth is changed clean the entire cleaning compartment and lube the cleaner head bar
- Wipe off casters
- Removelargeblackcoversand clean around the motors
- Inspectthemotorendofthevacuumandmakesure dust does not build up on the cover for the vacuum motor
- Inspectvacuumhousingandtroubleshootifwet
- Inspectpowercord(endsandentirelength)for splits or wearing. Replaceasneededforproperoperation and safety
- RoutineSuppliesandParts:
- ThecontractorshallfurnishTheAlleyManagerwith a list of required suppliesandrequiredstocklevelstoperform routine service and preventive maintenance on at least a monthly basis. The Alley Manager will ensure required routine supplies and parts are on-hand prior to on-site visits.
- TheAlleyManagerwillprovideallapplicableowner/operatingmanuals for machinery to be maintained.
