Brake Press Operator - Qualified Staffing

Brake Press Operators needed! Lapeer Manufacturer is looking for a first shift Brake Press Operator. Brake Press Operator must be able to read and understand detailed blueprints to form finished products. As well as making sure the machines are working at full capacity, well maintained, and stocked with needed materials.

Monday- Friday 8-10 hour shift pay range is $15-$17 depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of Press Brake machine & 1 year minimum of Manufacturing experience

Must perform periodic quality inspection checks on the product output and visually inspects the finished product to ensure it is defect free.

Job Responsibilities:

*Produce Parts according to print specifications

*Must be cognizant of different materials react to pressure, heat and shaping

*Inspect the materials for product quality

*Set up machine, including maneuvering stops on machine, changing tooling, adjusting components

*Run bend and forming operations

*Adjust ram and back gauge locations

*Perform complex programming 

*Work with tight tolerances

*Complete and maintain paperwork

*Identify assembly parts

*Configure bend allowances for sheet metal

*Perform other duties assigned.
