Job Description
PCI is seeking an experienced Branch Administrator for its PCI Promatec operations based in Houston, TX. This individual is responsible for the following duties:
- Supervise and actively coach administrative staff to promote professional development and efficient operations
- Manage Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely billing to Contractor on multiple construction projects
- Management of contract compliance
- Generate month-end reports for review by Branch Manager & Regional Controller
- Create and maintain all contract files electronically and when needed, in paper
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Verify all cost coding and general accuracy for the Job Cost Ledger and Contracts in Progress
- Provide back-up support for purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll operations
- Assist and provide support to Branch Manager, Project Managers and Estimators as needed
- Organize branch activities for team building and employee engagement
- Maintain and promote an environment of professionalism
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of office administration experience
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, a similar field, or comparable work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required
- Experience successfully leading teams, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a positive work environment
- Knowledge of general accounting practices and functions is required
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees within the company
- Must be a self-activating individual with a strong sense of professionalism
- Must be able to produce high-quality results within a team environment
- Ability to multitask, think critically, and navigate issues independently
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught is required
- Must be able to operate with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with payroll is preferred
- Experience with construction is preferred
- Familiarity with Box file management program, Microsoft AX, or Microsoft D365 preferred
- Local to the Houston metro area is preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally for professional development training
- Proficiency in a second language is a plus
