Brewer / Production at Coyote Hole Craft Beverages

The brewer duties are to provide beer production support from ordering, forecasting, making, packaging, tracking and reporting. Excellent time management, cleanliness, organization and problem solving skills are crucial skills required for this position. You need to be familiar with beer manufacturing machinery to troubleshoot and fix on the spot. Hard work, dependability and mutual respect are core values required for success in the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively perform all beer making processes in a safe and efficient manner. This includes but is not limited to:
• Working with the production team for overall completion of beer & cider process, supporting anywhere needed when possible as well
• Beer evaluation and preparation for fermentation including target adjustments
• Monitoring gravities, temperatures and carbonation levels
• Cleaning of used empty kegs, tanks, and facility
• Packaging of beer and cider into kegs, and cans as needed
• Inventory management to ensure constant supply and inventory accuracy of beer making items
• Create and update procedures as needed, everything needs to be tracked
• Proper cleaning and sanitation of production area and all production equipment including: tanks, fittings, gaskets, pumps, hoses, floors and more
• Communicate regularly and efficiently and arrive to each shift on time and with a positive attitude
• Update computer systems in Ekos, beer smith, and google docs and logs to track activity, recipes and more
• Stock and organize tasting room cooler as needed
• Help deliver kegs/cases as needed
• Take lead on pursuing new flavor profiles and ideas

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation and upkeep of equipment, maintaining quality control throughout all aspects of the cider and beer making and production processes will be a focus on this position
• Maintaining records of the beer, it’s movement and progress through the brewing process, inventory of raw materials and finished product on hand
• Responsible for ensuring that security procedures are adhered to throughout the facility
