ROLE
We are seeking a seasoned Budget System Administrator to join our finance team
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator within an Academic Medical Center (AMC) or a complex healthcare system
This role will focus on the transition to Hyperion Cloud or Strata for budget management and financial planning
Familiarity with Workday is also required, though less extensive experience is acceptable
This position demands strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of budgeting processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain the budget systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Lead the migration and implementation of budget management solutions to Hyperion Cloud or Strata.
Collaborate with finance and departmental leaders to support the budgeting process and develop forecasting models.
Ensure alignment of budgeting systems with organizational financial goals and compliance requirements.
Provide expert support for users of the budget systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Work closely with IT, finance, and operational teams to ensure system integrations and data integrity across platforms.
Facilitate training sessions for end-users to enhance understanding and utilization of budgeting systems.
Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for budgetary adjustments.
Ensure accuracy and security of financial data within the budgeting systems.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in an AMC or complex healthcare system
Experience with Hyperion Cloud or Strata preferred.
Basic understanding or experience with Workday financial modules is required.
Proficiency in budgeting and financial systems, with strong knowledge of system integrations and data management.
