Position:  Maintenance Technician
Location:  Sunrise, FL
Duration: 3+ months 
Pay Rate:  $30/hr on W2

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.  

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills and a background in general maintenance to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling a variety of maintenance tasks in a commercial or professional environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues, and read electrical plans and schematics effectively.
• Equipment Inspections: Perform routine inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal operation and identify potential issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and avoid costly repairs.
• Vendor Supervision: Oversee vendor work and ensure all third-party tasks meet company standards and safety guidelines.
• Computer Work: Utilize basic computer skills to document maintenance activities, manage work orders, and communicate effectively.
• General Maintenance: Perform general upkeep tasks, including basic plumbing repairs, minor carpentry, and general troubleshooting.
• Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and completing tasks in a professional, safety-conscious manner.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Education: High School Diploma required; trade school certification is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Journeyman License (required)
  • CFC Certification (required)
  • EPA License (preferred)
• System Proficiency: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is preferred. Proficiency in the basic Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

• Electrical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and plans; strong background in electrical troubleshooting.
• Schematic Experience: Familiarity with electrical schematics and maintenance documentation.

• Customer Service: Client-facing skills to maintain professionalism in customer interactions.
• Refrigeration Experience: Knowledge of refrigeration systems is beneficial but not required.
