Building Maintenance/Custodian - GATR Truck Center

GATR Truck Center is seeking to hire a full-time Building Maintenance/Custodian in our Elk River MN location. We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Are you looking to start or further your career with a company that values you? If so, read on!

PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Handyman projects such as light building mechanical, general repair, light electrical
• Schedule maintenance/repair of facility as directed by supervisor
• Snow removal using pickup with plow and front-end loader (will train)
• Coordinate lawncare
• Performs grounds maintenance such as keeping parking lot free from debris and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
• Ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked and orders monthly supplies
• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building(s), including all bathrooms and breakrooms
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
• Maintains a log of projects that have been done or need to be done
• Monitor / maintain building for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver license
• Achieve and maintain current boiler license
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Possess Handyman skills
• Trouble-shoot and fix minor plumbing problems and other general building needs
