Job Summary:
We presently have a full-time opportunity at our Wentzville, Missouri location for a Building Maintenance Technician. To perform general maintenance duties within the Masterack facility.
Essential Functions :
- Empties trash receptacles on the shop floor using trash disposal equipment.
- Assist with overall cleanliness/maintenance of the plant, offices, and exterior of the facility.
- Performs repairs on small tooling.
- Assist with maintaining tool storage area.
- Assist with process improvement projects.
- Communicates any problems to the Group Leader and/or Supervisor.
- Follows all safety guidelines.
- Handles other essential tasks as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- Ability to lift or move typically up to 50 lbs.
- Able to perform duties inside the facility as well as Outside of the facility.
- Ability to safely and efficiently use hand / power tools.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Satisfactorily pass company forklift driving test.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess either a high school diploma or an equivalent of a G.E.D.
- At least six months of prior Work experience in the same or similar role within an industrial / manufacturing environment.
