Building Maintenance Technician/Service In-House Technician at Innovance

Position Description:

Is responsible for the mechanical equipment and/or structure at Lou-Rich – Hayward. Duties involve the performance of operations and the use of tools and equipment of several t4rades, such as carpentry, electrical plumbing, etc. Work involves a combination of the following: planning and layout of work relating to repair of the area, mechanical and/or electrical equipment; installing and aligning new equipment; general repairing of the building. This person must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures.

Essential Functions:

· Complete tasks requested by Supervisor

· Keep company maintenance software up to date.

· Service rebuild and teardown of some products.

· Troubleshoot equipment

· Maintain building operations

Qualifications:

· Must have all safety training provided by Lou-Rich.

· Must have electrical knowledge.

· Flexibility in working hours.

· Must have a good understanding of all safety equipment used in the facility.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must have good communication skills

· Must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures

Lou-Rich Training Requirements:

· Applicable training will be completed by following the syllabi (Human Resources, Safety, IFS - Timeclock, IFS - Navigation, ISO) for each new hire and that will be verified by the Employee Orientation & Job Qualification form within the first 60 days of employment. Additional applicable training will be completed by following the individual's assigned department training matrix, Maintenance (F4400-038).

· Follow training syllabus (Technical from above list). Effectiveness of training guidelines will be determined by employee knowledge and demonstration of learned concepts. Additional training after the first several weeks of on-the-job training will be determined by the Supervisor in preparation to operate on their own as needed. Any follow-up training will be evaluated and provided at the 60-day review or as deemed necessary for the position.
