Position: Bus Driver Part time

Pay: $13 - $15 / hour Depending On Experience

Are you looking to be a part of a family-oriented team? Join Palmettos of Bluffton Assisted Living to help provide transportation for our patients. The applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring, and helpful. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented.

Position Highlights:

Are determined by the center and may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the care and use of center vehicle.
• Safely transport patients/residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Inspects all equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Prepares and submits reports as directed.
• Able to be on call for emergencies.
• Transports specimens to lab for Nursing Department, as needed.
• Runs errands as directed.
• Responsible for the care and use of supplies and maintenance equipment used in performance of duties.
• Able to cooperate with other partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
• Heavy duty cleaning
• Keeps records of work preformed and cost involved
• Able to be on call for emergencies
• Inspection of property and equipment for compliance with safety regulation
• Changing light bulbs, ceiling fixtures, painting and dry wall etc...
• Able to stand, walk inside and outside in all weather.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb depending on job.
  • Able to work in awkward positions.
  • Able to do heavy lifting and moving. Be able to lift over 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Subject to emergency call.
  • Able to see, hear and communicate adequately to complete job duties and
  responsibilities.

Experience

• High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
• CDL Preferred but NOT required.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients.
