Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm if looking for a qualified Business Analyst – Alternate Assets to help guide the development of systems which provide cutting-edge alternative assets to clients. Looking to bring on an expert with a deep understanding of alternative assets, portfolio management/trading systems & processes, and strong skills as a business analyst to help with the creation of requirements, and overseeing the execution of the vision.
Essential Requirements and Responsibilities :

Looking to bring on an expert with a deep understanding of alternative assets, portfolio management/trading systems & processes, and strong skills as a business analyst to help with the creation of requirements, and overseeing the execution of the vision.
Essential Requirements and Responsibilities :
- Write user stories for alternative asset platform features
- Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: portfolio managers, quants, marketing, operations, risk, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way
- Communicating effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders, occasionally providing senior leadership with monthly status reports
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver business requirements and documentation
- Seven or more years of experience in a business analyst or technical role within a financial institution
- Knowledge of alternative assets/investments (real estate, private equity, private credit)
- Understanding of back-office operations (portfolio management/trading/compliance systems)
- Proven analytical abilities
- Strong familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong working knowledge of other Microsoft applications, including Visio
- Proven ability to manage projects and user testing
- Extensive experience with data visualization
- Technical writing (user stories, functional requirements, etc)
