What we need…
We are seeking a motivated and curious Business Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess basic service skills and developing communication abilities, enabling effective stakeholder engagement. They will be proficient in basic to intermediate report writing using SQL and Power BI and have a solid understanding of team products and relational databases. The role requires basic to intermediate troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, and the ability to conduct independent research. As a team player with strong time management skills, the candidate will take accountability for assigned tasks and demonstrate a basic understanding of banking terms.

What you’ll do…
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- Analyze requirements and translate to report writing environment
- Build reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
- Perform data validation
- Resolve technical issues related to report creation, data manipulation and report calculations
- Identify opportunities to best leverage data to produce insightful information
- Provide client support for report writing and related system requests
- Develop and maintain application / data set knowledge
- Create and maintain documentation
What you’ll bring…
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics or similar role
- Technical aptitude, ability to analyze data and understanding of relational databases required
- Finance or banking experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills requires
- Experience constructing database queries; SQL knowledge preferred
- Ability to grasp complex issues and determine appropriate resolution
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Strong business writing skills
Salary range for this role is $52,000-$75,000/annually
