Business Engagement Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Business Engagement Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our GTM Commercial customers through ideation, workshop and meeting facilitation, presentation development, requirements gathering, road mapping, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business customers to identify areas of focus, create application roadmaps, and suggest process improvements.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops; prepare business presentations and business cases.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and manage requests for changes to these specifications.
• Assist in determining which business requirements can be automated and how they integrate with other business and technical processes.
• Help prepare project-related documents and manage organizational change communication (OCM).
• Track and report on project tasks, costs, timelines, budgets, issues, change requests, and overall project status.
• Work closely with the development team to provide updates on project deliverables.
• Coordinate and participate in testing activities.
• Support software package deployment for business customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile methodology to effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to translate technical information into language understandable by non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to meeting the needs of business partners.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with Gas Pipeline Transmission applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
