Job Title: Business Analyst (Product Owner Exp.)
Location: Southington, CT
Duration: Long Term
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 + years' experience as Business Analyst/Product Owner in baking domain
- Had exposure to FR Y-15 et al LFI reports, management reporting, etc.
- Understand data traceability and connect that to the purpose of different data types (non-credit and non-finance data)
- Ability to dive into the variation of data types (non-credit and non-finance data) traceability and conduct independent analysis leveraging strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify gaps, duplications, inappropriate data use / transformations.
- Good communication skills and ability to partner across different teams inside and outside of CIO
- Understands general data tagging by category, data lifecycle, recurring patterns and trends, and ability to collect quantitative and / or informative summaries about the data
- Create data metrics based on the above to support the program execution and report out.
- Highly articulating to communicate at leadership level
- Must be experience in Scaled Agile or similar Agile framework
- Support the Product Owner and scrum team's priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies, working in collaboration with core technical team, product managers, experience design, & a variety of technology partners
- Good understanding of business process and effectively use Design principals and automation to optimize the process
- Align with product managers to clearly articulate product strategy to the scrum team and define MVP along based on prioritization techniques.
- Operate with little supervision and troubleshoot complex problems, to recommend appropriate actions
- Partner with solution architects and other technical leads to ensure their solutions effectively address program priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity
- Write user stories & groom the scrum team's backlog; in partnership with the team
- Manage release-specific business documents, such as support models, go/no-go approvals, internal release notes, and more
- Provide product demos to key stakeholders
- Lead production business validations, in partnership with product managers
- Partner with scrum teams on rollout and post-production support
- Good understanding of Banking application and understands the interfaces around it.
- Coordinate with testing partners and execute functional test cases
- At least 5 years of experience in requirement elicitation techniques like JAD/sessions, workshops, interviews, surveys etc.
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis tools like HP ALM and MS Visio
- At least 3 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process
