Business Assistant - Operating Room - Per Diem 8hr - Variable - Washington Hospital Healthcare System

Salary Range: $32.35 - $43.68

Summary of Duties: The Business Assistant provides business and clerical support functions to all departments within Perioperative Services. This includes, but not limited to date entry, generating reports adn charts, scheduling for staff and surgical cases, adn assist with daily staffing, charge capture, developing and organizing patient charts, filing documents and timekeeping.

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College graduate with degree in business preferred.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical environment preferred.

Special Skills or Abilities:
Proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook is required.
Strong computer skills and communication skills.
Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
Staffing and scheduling skills.
Typing 50 wpm min preferred.
