About the Job
Position Overview: As a Business Development Associate at our boutique asset management firm, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business. You will be responsible for conducting research, coordinating new business development projects, addressing partner requests, collecting financial data, producing daily market reports, and supporting various corporate operations. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal and external partners, contribute to strategic initiatives, and gain valuable experience in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Research: Conduct thorough research, including analysis of market trends, industry developments, and product offerings. Utilize this information to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Coordinate New Business Development Projects: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive new business development initiatives. Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Address Partner Requests: Respond to partner inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Effectively communicate essential product details and information to meet partner needs and expectations.
Collect Financial Data: Gather and organize financial data and information as requested by senior management. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data to support decision-making processes.
Produce Daily Market Reports: Research and analyze equity and fixed income markets to produce insightful daily reports. Monitor market trends, news, and events to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
Adapt to New Tasks and Projects: Flexibly adapt to new tasks and projects as required, including supporting middle/back office functions. Demonstrate versatility and willingness to take on new challenges.
Support Corporate Operations: Assist with various common tasks necessary for corporate operations, such as administrative duties, document preparation, and project coordination.
Qualifications:
1 to 4 Years of Financial Industry Experience: Preferred experience working in the financial industry, with a strong understanding of financial markets, products, and industry dynamics.
Proficiency in Korean: Preferred proficiency in both written and spoken Korean to effectively communicate with Korean-speaking partners and clients.
Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated adaptability to changing tasks, priorities, and projects.
