Scope of Responsibilities: This is an inside sales “hunter” role. The business development associate is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and setting up first time appointments between prospects and sales team members in an assigned territory.
Job Summary: Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong competitive nature and experience speaking with potential clients in a sales prospecting capacity. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through qualification. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. Successful Associates will have the opportunity to grow into Account Executives!
Responsibilities:Job Duties:
- Lead qualification campaigns to generate sales opportunities
- Outbound prospecting leveraging phone, email, social media
- Execution of prospecting/lead development campaigns
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up First Time Appointments (FTAs) or Introduction Calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate services
- Use your communication skills to quickly cultivate a trust relationship with the potential customer from first contact
- Execution of sales strategies and techniques to garner new business.
- Meeting and exceeding sales objectives to meet daily and monthly quotas.
- Successful use and management of CRM in accordance with corporate sales guidelines and expectations.
- Prospecting for new accounts through referrals and cold calling activities, meeting a quota of 100 dials per day.
- Keep current on industry trends that may impact the business & revenue objectives of the company.
- Monitor your performance and progress daily aligned with company established objectives
- Report to the Director of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Educational Requirements:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Associates Degree or Higher in Business or related field
- or: Standing Student in a Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related major
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a high call volume environment
- Experience with cold calling, and inside or outside sales
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Requirements/Qualifications
- Experience performing high volume sales prospecting calls daily
- Ability to prospect for possible clients through researching, competitive analysis, and mapping their assigned territory
- Excellent phone skills and etiquette
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of daily prospecting call activity
- A self-starter mentality possessing the ability to work within a fast-paced performance driven environment
- Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and CRM databases
- Time and daily schedule management
- Phone sales experience or ability to make a high level of prospecting phone calls (up to 100) daily

Attendance Requirements:

Compensation
$17-19.25 per hour.
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
