Position Summary:
The Business Development Director - Recruitment is responsible for driving growth and expanding the client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing innovative recruitment solutions. This individual will collaborate closely with the recruitment team to ensure client needs are met while helping to position EHS Recruiting Company as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the recruitment space, focusing on high-growth industries and potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
- Collaboration with Recruitment Teams: Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure successful delivery of recruitment services, align client needs with recruitment strategies, and maximize client satisfaction.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics in the recruitment industry. Use this knowledge to shape business development strategies.
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clients.
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote EHS Recruiting Company and cultivate potential business leads.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales targets, pipeline growth, and client retention, to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the recruitment or staffing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a client base.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment industry, including current market trends and client needs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and nurture client relationships at all levels, from mid-level managers to senior executives.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
