Responsibilities
Our partner's client is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand new business opportunities and exceed the needs of current clients in North America. In this role, you will manage an existing customer base, focus on developing new customers within existing and emerging markets, and build relationships with key partners for effective channel management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be passionate about building strong, value-based relationships, and possess the ability to connect with customers and prospects through both phone and email.
- Drive new revenue and expand business opportunities
- Source, foster, and manage new and existing client relationships
- Identify and research competitors to understand their offerings and our unique value proposition
- Research potential clients in new and existing markets, pursue leads and move through the sales cycle
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote company products by addressing and predicting client needs
- Collaborate with Sales Operations on planned activities
- Achieve all personal sales objectives
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Work with VP, BD Law Enforcement Solutions to develop proposals
- Follow the sales process with daily updates and tracking of sales, revenue, and opportunities
- Participate in all sales forecasting and planning
- Participate in or attend exhibitions, conferences, and shows as required
Requirements
- 2-6 years of proven new business development experience within the DoD, Law Enforcement, or RF Communications space
- A motivated and driven mindset of finding and identifying sales opportunities
- Strong background in technical sales and business development
- Knowledge and understanding of key players in the public safety or telecommunications industry
- Experience working within public safety, telecommunications, and IoT industries
- Strong business acumen
- Proven ability to proactively engage with leaders and facilitate discussions
- Technical proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships at the highest levels both inside and outside the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Availability to travel within North America to meet customers and attend key conferences
Education/Certification Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Sales, Business Administration, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field is required
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicants must be able to pass an enhanced background check to obtain a Public Trust

Compensation
- This role offers an annual base salary range of $105,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
