You will proactively seek and develop new business leads, exploit market opportunities, and support both existing and potential new clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end-users, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and sales agencies to identify and prioritize opportunities, focusing on top end-users within the segment.
- Analyze sales data and gather customer feedback to forecast performance, guide strategic market penetration, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features and applications to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Provide thorough training sessions for customers to ensure they fully understand product functionality, optimize usage, and enhance the Dunlop brand's presence in the market.
- Work with other departments (e.g. Marketing) to ensure that product messaging and training materials are current, aligned with market demands, and effectively delivered to customers.
- Support the customer service team in shifting from a reactive to a proactive sales approach, implementing active sales strategies, and fostering a forward-thinking, customer-centric culture.
- Ability to share and present sales and performance reports to management, highlighting trends, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in industry shows and customer meetings as required to represent the company, build networks, and stay informed on industry trends.
- Maintain and manage the sales pipeline using CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress tracking for all potential leads and opportunities.
- Support customer service functions as needed, such as processing orders and handling RGA (Return Goods Authorization) requests in the ERP system.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5-7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in sales.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis are preferred.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and ERP/CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
