THIS POSITION REQUIRES PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR a ROBOTIC SYSTEM INTEGRATOR or WELDING EQUIPMENT or CAPITAL (factory) EQUIPMENT (such as metalworking equipment) MANUFACTURER.
**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
As a Business Development and Sales Manager , your job will have two main priorities.
- While building your strategy for market expansion, you will also be following-up on existing customers and sales leads, making site visits, gather customer requirements, conduct technical presentations, and, working with the sales and sales-support teams, provide solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
- With the growth of our business in the market and as you transition into a team-manager role, you will lead and motivate your sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- This position requires a self-starter who is proactive and results-driven, with excellent leadership, technical sales, and communication skills.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Business development:
- Generate short and long terms business plans.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and KPIs to drive business growth.
- Search for and identify, and initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders:
- end-users (customers) to generate demand and drive demands to contract.
- key / strategic standard equipment suppliers to identify customers and expand sales network.
- dealers, sales agents and partners to broaden network for end-customer outreach.
- competitors with the intent of project-based collaboration.
- research organizations and universities to identify areas of collaboration and facilitate introduction to the client.
- industrial organizations to expand network.
Sales:
- Visit customers, gather requirements, work with sales and sales-support teams to drive preparation of quotations and contracts.
- Conduct sales negotiations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and participate in tradeshows.
Management:
- Search for talent and lead the hiring process.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for CXO level for quarterly KPI reviews and re-alignment.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- 5+ years of experience in a SALES or BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT role.
- 5+ years of experience working for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field or business administration.
- Strong technical sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successful sales closings.
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
