SUMMARY
This position is for a Business / Information Technology Project Manager, with strong hands-on business analysis experience. The ideal candidate will be articulate, present themselves professionally and be flexible in regards to working in a dual role as a Project Manager with deep business analysis capabilities. This is a working Project Manager that includes more than managing an MS project schedule, running meetings, and following a scripted SDLC.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The PM will partner with the head of Business Technology to lead the ERP stabilization project that includes the hardware re-platforming, base ERP software version upgrade, and extension of barcoding functionality into logistics and material issuance work processes. The ideal candidate will have both ERP knowledge in a manufacturing setting and strong SDLC/GAMP/GMP validation knowledge – preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry. The PM will lead the work efforts of 3-4 contingent workers, 1-2 IT technical colleagues, and numerous business SMEs. A very strong, versatile, and experienced PM who can be tough in a room without hubris is required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive assigned projects with high energy and tenacity – often pulling SMEs and stakeholders along.
• Dive in deep, arm to arm with business SMEs to understand their needs and flush out positive and negative design, project, and process elements. Understood what is and isn't being said.
• Directly interface with business users and stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements for systems and solutions to be implemented.
• Execute SDLC documentation for computer system implementation projects including developing user and functional requirements; technical and functional business process flows, use case, test case and test script documents; perform functionality, usability and testing during required project phases
• Connect people to work and track diligently – with extensive communication and follow-up across project SMEs and stakeholders. Drive the project and related work blocks, holding participants accountable to deliver work products on time and per agreed upon quality.
• Capable of seeing issues and managing risks to minimize impact – understand the business to understand how to execute.
• Providing project and deliverable status updates, financial analysis, risk and issue tracking, analysis and problem resolution; perform project manager responsibilities as assigned during all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, control and close)
• Developing and/or directing project documentation, communications and stakeholder plan development and execution
• Ability to interact and facilitate effective meetings with business teams, vendors and other 3rd party stakeholders throughout the duration of project.
• Diligently and with cadence of purpose – provide routine updates (Weekly reports, meeting minutes, monthly project quad status). Consistently update Smartsheet master project (or similar) and capacity plans to PMO.
• Manage multiple tasks across multiple owners while constantly updating management and stakeholders weekly.
• Escalate issues quickly to appropriate business system owner or Technology Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years' experience as Sr. IT PM for computer system and software implementations; experience with ERP systems in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong experience with WBS/Project task elucidation and iterative refinement of scope, tasks, and estimations
• Proficient in English
• FDA-regulated environments; knowledgeable in writing Validation Documents (e.g. Validation Master Plans, Validation Protocols, Associated SOPs, Part 11 Risk Assessments, Verification Plans, Test Scripts)
• Experience and/or certifications in SDLC and other IT project management methodologies; Agile development is a plus
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Computer system validation regulations, CFR 21 Part 11 regulations, and Good Documentation Practices
• Must have demonstrated capability in completing projects according to prescribed timelines and other requirements in previous project management or business analyst roles
• Solid work ethic with a positive attitude; excellent listener, with good verbal and communication skills
• Excellent self-management, time management, and problem solving skills; must be able to multi-task / multi-project
• Be able to function in multidisciplinary teams, must possess excellent documentation, presentation, training and computer skills
