In this role, you will support analytics-based decision-making by providing actionable, consistent, and accurate data to our stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and deliver data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Data Quality: Monitor and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in our systems.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
- Support: Provide support in ad-hoc analysis requests from stakeholders to aid decision-making and resolve any dataflow issues as they arrive.
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence, constantly growing your technological toolbox.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for data and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner, is required as this is a people-facing role
- Basic knowledge of SQL (ideally TSQL or Spark SQL).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Optional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Knowledge of Python is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of database architecture (OLAP vs. OLTP, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure environment
