Business Intelligence Developer - True Manufacturing

The Business Intelligence Developer partners with process owners in various aspects of the company to design, develop, and implement process improvements using business intelligence solutions. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions.
• Responsible for mining of data and presenting it in an understandable format.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create and manage business intelligence and analytic solutions that turn data into knowledge.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Evaluate and improve existing Business Intelligence systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Presents information through reports and visualizations requested for projects.
• Process mapping/value stream mapping to streamline processes prior to developing business intelligence solutions.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar field or equivalent experience/training required. 
• One or more years related experience required.
• Familiarity with BI technologies such as Microsoft Power BI or other similar software.
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
• Analytical mind with problem solving aptitude.
• Process mapping and/or value steam mapping experience.
• Ability to translate current business process information into technical specifications.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
