We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Litigation Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals in our fast-paced, high-performing legal firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual with a strong background in business litigation and a passion for the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing a diverse case load, including a wide range of business and real estate litigation matters. Key responsibilities include:
1. Representing clients in all stages of business and real estate litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
2. Conducting complex legal research and analysis to prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
4. Providing legal advice to clients on litigation risks and strategies.
5. Collaborating with a team of attorneys on various cases and legal matters.
6. Participating in business development initiatives to attract new clients.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest legal developments in business and real estate litigation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Business Litigation Associate position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation, with a strong focus on real estate litigation.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal tools.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest legal developments.
