Business Management Assistant - WuXi AppTec

This position will primarily support the Business Management team. The role will entail working in a collaborative manner within the team, as well as interaction with other HDB personnel. Daily presence onsite at the front desk during standard business hours is required.

• Provides administrative support, including but not limited to guest check in, answering phone, client visit preparation (conference room set up/clean up, food/drink, reservations), etc.
• Monitors emails and communicates with BM team and internal Scientists regarding emails unanswered within 24hrs.
• Updates and maintains BM Smart Sheet in a timely manner.
• QC BM SmartSheet for duplicate and incorrect information and makes corrections in a timely manner.
• Assists with quote formatting.
• Assists with rudimentary quote QC (formatting, basic calculations).
• Maintains electronic files/budgets/contracts on file server.
• Assists with Project kick off.
• Follows up with internal Scientist for needed documents or information.
• Works under close supervision from supervisor or senior personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist in other departments.

• 0-1 yrs experience
• Bachelor's degree in biology or related science discipline, preferred.
• General knowledge in biology/ pharmaceutical research preferred.

• Must be detail-oriented, have strategic planning skills and capability to multi-task, ensuring that all tactical details are managed efficiently, effectively, and timely.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Strong administrative skills and proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Interactive and collaborative approach.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Anticipated salary range: $24.72 to $31.95
