About the Job
Responsible for the full development lifecycle support of the data warehouse environment and the development, integration, and support of business intelligence tools.
Essential Functions
- Works with business users and the technical team to determine Bl requirement s, translate them into ETL and report specifications, and design, develop, and implement business intelligence, data warehousing, dashboard, and reporting solutions.
- Provides expert-level expertise in report and dashboard development, SQL queries, and meta-data layers.
- Write queries to mine data and develops and implements ETL programs and tools to load data from disparate data sets.
- Implements, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains data warehouse and reporting tools.
- Validates report accuracy.
- Data warehousing initiatives in the federal sector
- Extracting data into data warehouses/marts using SAP Business Objects tools
- Relational data structures, theories, principles and practices, data warehousing methodologies and tools
- May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

- Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
- Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

Experience
- Must possess at least seven years of experience supporting data warehousing implementations with a broad experience and background in application development. This experience must include Business Objects Data Architecture with dimensional modeling and Universe design to include creating complex Xcelsius Dashboards, Webl, Open Document XML, Web Service hosted on Business Objects XI 3.1, design and installation of large scale Business Objects Enterprise and writing SQL queries with a strong knowledge of databases.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience directly within technical area
Security Clearance
Must be US Citizen able to obtain Public Trust
Compensation and Benefits:
