BOM/HR (Business Office Manager and Human Resources)

Hudson Elms is a 50 bed skilled nursing, and 25 bed assisted living community looking for a Business Office & Human Resource Manager to join our team. 

*Experience Preferred in a Skilled Nursing setting*

Job Responsibilities for BOM

• Verify midnight census testing for accuracy on a daily basis

• Complete insurance forms

• Participate in Utilization Review (UR)

• Discuss financial obligations with residents/families upon admission and discharge

• Complete and coordinate tasks necessary for timely and accurate billing and collection.

Job Responsibilities for HR

• Conduct Orientation for new staff

• Complete payroll on a biweekly basis

• Monitor Time Cards daily

• Focus on recruitment

• Monitor employee benefits

• Understand policies and procedures

• Remain in compliance with confidentiality

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prefer 1-2 years in business office/HR of a Long Term Care Facility
• Prefer a college degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or HR
• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance, accounts receivable/collections, resident funds, and accounts payable
• Must be computer literate
• Ability to adhere to facilities policies and procedures
