Business Process Analyst - Project Manager - Hunter Engineering Company

What you will do:

• Will partner cross-functionally and departmentally to understand the business, identify, and define Hunter’s critical processes, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures focusing on enhanced quality, increased productivity, and reduced cost.

• Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to collaborate on and deliver the right solutions for the entirety of Hunter Engineering Company
• Participate in strategy discussions to understand and capture high-level business needs.
• Serve as a liaison between business partners, IT department, and consultant companies.
• Review business and operational transaction workflows for functionality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to understand business requirements; demonstrate understanding of business needs and recommend design changes.
• Use strategic thinking to eliminate waste, improve workflows, and continuously improve results.
• Identify further opportunities for improvement.
• Identify potential barriers to success and adapt processes to overcome them.
• Effectively lead and manage various business process improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

• Serve as an ambassador for Hunter Engineering Company while working with consultants.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project consultants, and various teams and task forces.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience required; 5+ years of applicable work experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, communicate information in a timely fashion, and execute with the appropriate sense of urgency.
• Strong process improvement mentality
• Experience executing and leading change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Strong critical thinking and positive attitude
