This position is located within the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Consumer Response. The Business Process Analyst, serves as an expert in business process reengineering and change management processes. The incumbent is responsible for providing expert knowledge of Consumer Response business processes, including knowledge of systems and consumer complaint processing necessary to drive change that improves the Office's ability to meet its objectives more effectively.
Responsibilities
As a Business Process Analyst, you will:
- Be responsible for projects including business process reengineering efforts across Consumer Response and Education that are time-bound engagements that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of internal- and external-facing processes.
- Lead more junior staff in initiating, managing, and responding to business process reengineering requests and initiatives to improve business processes or systems by leading discussions and working groups with appropriate business owners.
- Independently prepare or lead junior staff in preparing implementation plans for the Consumer Response business owners that will address communication, training, updated Standard Operating Processes and Procedures (SOPs), metrics, and other business process analysis and reengineering strategies.
- Independently lead complex projects involving multiple business units by establishing and maintaining project management related documents; coordinating and managing team members working on multiple project work streams; establishing and maintaining effective communication with project champions, sponsors, and stakeholders; analyzing processes and recommending changes to improve business process; and implementing and controlling recommended changes.
