Business Team Associate: Patient Coordinator - Westchester Dental

Summary
Our multi-specialty practice is seeking an energetic, professional, detail-oriented Business Team Associate. We are a highly trained, clinically comprehensive practice that believes the best dental care comes from our relationships with our patients. In this position you will be an essential team member working day to day in the front office of our practice. You will be partnering with management to constantly implement improvements to our processes and procedures.. We are seeking the right person to grow with our team, have fun and be challenged every day.
Responsibilities
- Promptly answer all incoming phone calls and treat every patient with respect and dignity
- Greet and check in/out patients
- Track number of new patients per month and provide metrics during team meetings
- Collect any copayments or payments from patients
- Maintain hygiene schedule to maximize profitability and production for providers
- Work with scheduling and treatment plan coordinator to recall patients with pending treatment plans
- Enter treatment plans into Dentrix
- Maintain appearance of front office and refill any necessary items
- Maintain a high level of business professionalism at all times
- Provide excellent care to all patients
Key Qualifications
- At least 1 year minimum working experience in a dental office
- Experience with either EagleSoft or Dentrix required
- Familiarity with dental insurances (PPO), the verification process and fee schedules
