Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely availability of commodities and materials for production schedules and internal needs.
- Focus on MRO and VMI inventories, assisting with other commodities as needed.
- Follow up and expedite to maintain appropriate inventory levels for fluctuating business demands.
- Initiate purchase orders and amendments for parts, services, and special tools.
- Coordinate with plant engineering for timely product and service sourcing.
- Secure and analyze quotations; negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
- Recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness.
- Interview and confer with suppliers to determine capabilities and logistics.
- Coordinate quality matters between company activities and suppliers.
- Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in supply-chain, business, or technical discipline.
- Previous procurement experience desired.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) and analytical abilities.
- Previous ERP experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with business maturity and a positive attitude.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
