Responsibilities:Main Responsibilities:
- Produce complete and accurate design drawings
- Communicate proactively and appropriately with team members, sub-consultants, and others as needed
- Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks
- Manage and archive project files properly
- Initialize projects in CAD, utilize survey to create the base drawing, complete appropriate project sheets and design elements such as site and horizontal control plans; paving, grading, and drainage plans; utility plan and profiles; roadway plan and profiles; notes; etc.
- Complete project CAD work within deadlines
- Learn and apply new or upgraded software
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Autocad (Civil 3D preferred) in civil engineering, transportation engineering and/or land development projects or a minimum of 2 years of technical drafting in an accredited Junior or Community college
- Knowledge of CADD software for site development design
