Supervisory responsibilities: None

Summary/objective: Dienamic Tooling Systems (DTS) is looking to add a CAM Programmer to their team! The CAM Programmer is responsible for developing new programs for our CNCs (including 3 axis and 3 2 axis) using Fusion/Mastercam software. Ideal candidates should have experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised.

Essential functions:

• Develop CNC programs for necessary parts using Fusion and/or Mastercam software
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
• Modify existing programs for different machines
• Maintain tooling database
• Make manual program adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Familiarity with Fusion/Mastercam
• Basic math skills
• A well rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds.
• Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
• Candidate must have valid driver’s license

• Completion of a technical or associate degree program
• Experience with large mills
• Experience with 3 & 5 CNC Mills
• Two years of experience

• Candidate must have full use of all limbs
• Candidate must be able to read and speak English
• Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds

Position type and expected hours of work: Full time, day shift. Some overtime might be required.
