Job Summary:
We are seeking a CAT Tester to be responsible for the preparation, execution, and management of the entire CAT testing process. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful CAT execution and maintain communication of progress, issue remediation plans, and test outputs. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with various teams to develop test requirements, execute cases, track defects, and drive testing improvements.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a CAT Tester to be responsible for the preparation, execution, and management of the entire CAT testing process. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful CAT execution and maintain communication of progress, issue remediation plans, and test outputs. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with various teams to develop test requirements, execute cases, track defects, and drive testing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire CAT testing process, from preparation to execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate test scenarios, execute test cases, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provide daily progress updates and issue remediation plans to business and technology stakeholders.
- Ensure that test results, test artifacts, and CAT outputs are documented and shared via ALM with the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with leads to meet testing deadlines and address critical issues quickly.
- Develop and modify test scripts, cases, and scenarios based on software requirements and customer-driven changes.
- Create and implement manual and automated QA test plans, producing test cases based on technical requirements or design specifications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing, analyze results, and document detailed defect reports.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing new standards and methods for testing.
- Use tools like ALM, UFT, Selenium, and VersionOne to manage testing processes.
- Work with DB tools such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Shipping Services File and PostalOne eVS systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, R, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall development practices and associated testing strategies.
- Familiarity with mail.xml is a plus.
- Strong experience with ALM, UFT, Selenium, and VersionOne.
- Experience with database tools like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in defect management and test result documentation.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing processes.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Note: Four (4) additional years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
