About the Job
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of head and neck cancer. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, housestaff and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include nationally recognized excellence in the care of head and neck cancer patients with a focus on clinical trials at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include excellent qualifications in clinical research. The successful candidate will have an established record of independent funding, high impact publications, and a strong national/international reputation. There will be an expectation of high-quality research which leads to scholarship in this position.
