CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) - Oregon Urology Institute

Oregon Urology Institute (OUI) has a Full-Time, CMA opportunity.

Summary: Responsible for partnering with physicians and staff with patient care.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient history/vital signs.
• Hands on procedure-oriented nursing care in a fast-paced office.
• Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.

Preferred qualifications:

• Able to assist in a variety of treatments.
• Skill in taking vital signs.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients and co-workers.
• Must be flexible and a quick learner.
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

1. Current CMA certification.
2. 1-3 years relevant experience, preferred.
3. Graduation from an accredited CMA/ program required.
4. Current healthcare level CPR certification required.
5. All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work.
6. All candidates must pass a drug screen, reference and background check in order to be considered for employment.

This is a Full-time position. CMA wage range: $18.25 to $27.38 per hour, DOE. No nights or weekends.
