CNC Machinist
Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist who will be responsible for setting up, editing, programming, and operating mills and lathes. The machinist will also conduct first piece inspections and ensure that tight tolerances of .0001 +/- are held.
Pay & Shift
1st and 2nd shifts available. $20-$27 Based on experience.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, edit, program, and operate mills and lathes.
+ Conduct first piece inspections.
+ Maintain tight tolerances of .0001 +/-.
+ Work 48 hours per week.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
+ A few years of hands-on experience in a machine shop.
+ Experience with setting up, operating, and programming mills and lathes.
+ Proficiency in working with G&M codes.
+ Familiarity with CNC operations and lathe operation.
+ Experience in machining and machine operating.

The work environment is a small, air-conditioned shop with a variety of machines including mills, lathes, EDM, grinders, and manual equipment. The shop primarily serves the Aerospace Industry and maintains a fairly clean workspace. The dress code requires work pants and steel-toed boots
