CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift - X-Cel Technologies - Tinley Park

X-Cel Technologies is looking for competent**CNC Operators**to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. No experience is required - **we will train on the job!**

CNC Operators are skilled professionals, able to work with great precision. The goal is to produce high quality parts, ranging in materials, by programming machines to perform the right operations. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. This position will require training on 1st Shift (M-Th, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm) with the expectation to transfer to 2nd Shift once training is completed. Second shift schedule is M-TH, 4:15 pm to 2:15 am.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload bars of material correctly
• Monitor the operation
• Take measurements and inspect material; will learn to use various inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and depth gauges
• Understand and follow specifications of task by reading blueprints & work instructions
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations as well as OSHA

Qualifications

• No experience required! We will provide On-the-Job training
• Mechanical aptitude
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
