CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift - Precision Staffing

Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a key client in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. This is a 2nd shift position that will be in the Mason, OH area.

Responsibilities for CNC Machinist:

• Follow machine alignment and calibration procedures.
• Install/uninstall fixtures and load/unload parts.
• Set up ancillary equipment and run CNC programs.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform prep, wash, and deburr operations.
• Inspect and clean laser optics.
• Use measuring tools to verify workpiece conformance.
• Read and interpret CMM data.
• Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, seeking assistance as needed.
• Periodically operate an overhead crane.

Qualifications for CNC Machinist:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of laser experience required.
• Basic mechanical and mathematical skills related to machining/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must have 20/20 vision (corrected) and pass an annual vision test.
• Lift, push, and pull 35 pounds.
