About the Job
Growing Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist for a direct hire opportunity on the first shift, working full time, Monday - Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime available! This position is paying $35/HR+ depending on candidates experience
Benefits package offered immediately upon start with company (may be 30 day waiting period)
Set up, edit and operating of both CNC Lathe and CNC Milling Machines
Make changes to tooling and simple edits to programs using G-Code and/or Fanuc controls
Primary responsibility is to machine parts through professional utilization of various machine tools and related equipment
Ability to work from and interpret, blue prints, sketches and verbally communicated requirements
Must be able to set up and operate CNC Machining equipment
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
2+ years experience with setting up and operating CNC machines; Milling and Lathe experience Required
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
High School diploma or GED required
Trade or Technical School preferred
General shop math skills are required
Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment, while minimizing down time
Ability to work from and interpret, blue prints, sketches and verbally communicated requirements
Ability to read and use measuring instruments, such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore micrometers, with a full knowledge of their application
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day
