CNC Machinist - Precinmac Manufacturing

Day shift is Monday through Thursday 6a-430p.

Swing shift is Monday through Thursday 330p-2a.

Weekend day shift is Friday through Sunday 6a-630p.

Weekend graveyard shift is Friday through Sunday 6p-630a.

Shields experienced growth in the fourth quarter of 2023 and we have an immediate opportunity for CNC Mill Machinists. These team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

• Ability to read and understand drawings

• Starts and observes machine operation

• Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors

• Process offset changes unassisted

• Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.

• Verify conformance of completed work

• Working on Vertical Mills, Haas and Brother Machines…multiple machines at a time.

Requirements:

• Extensive machine shop/metal working skills

• Possesses the ability to work with decimals

• Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)

• Ability to set up your own jobs and run first part

• Ability to adjust programs if required
